writing 8 : Final research

As i have been trying to finish my project, I haven't really posted that much of the progress of my work and the research that i have carried out.
As i stated in the previous post, i started the project using a template I downloaded from a website called score.
This is how a typical structure of the sections in the template looks.

Due to the way the template has been structured, it has made it very easy for me to create a business plan to the point where little research is required.
In a situation where i am confused,  I go to Bplan website. This is because it is very helpful and it has everything i need to know on a business plan.
For example :An article on how to understand a particular section in a business plan has been written by various people which means that i can get the same information from the same website and with a different explanation of the section from different authors.

That is not to say i did not further my research . I did by looking at other form of texts such as a  book called ‘Guide to a successful business plan’ (Friend and Zehle,2009) This book assisted in my research process by giving me techniques and tips required for business plans to grow into an established business, which was the goal of my project: to look credible. I also looked at two books by Iain Maitland called The business planner by Ian Maitland(1992) and Business plans in a week by Iain Maitland(2002) this helped in the financial section of my project because it helped explain the various types of financial projections and their uses in a business plan. While doing this,i would always compare these two books to Preparing Effective Business Plans by Barringer(2015) because i felt like all of them had the similar information but explained them differently ,so i used one when i couldn't understand the other which assisted in the development of my project.
In addition, using the Leicester City Council (2019) as a source it helped to give me some understanding on how the Leicester market is,how to enter ,the requirement and what to expect which was really helpful.

All these sources were my key research that i went back to when confused .
I think theses sources helped in the creation of my major project greatly as they give me a deeper understanding of all aspects of business planning by explaining structure which was
  • Executive Summary
  • Company Description
  • Products & Services
  • Marketing Plan
  • Operational Plan
  • Management & Organisation
  • Financial Plan
  • Appendices
Most of my research focused on the structure of the business plan because I did not have prior knowledge about writing business plans and I wanted to produce a work that seemed like someone who had prior knowledge.

Being that it was a start up business for African snacks, I already have a food blogger that i use when i am making my African delicacies called Sisiyemmie. so i used her food blog to help me familiarise my self with the recipe of the snack i was going introduce in the Leicester market
In my next post i will show the final result of my project and the way i will put it on my website.

INDOMIE: INDONESIAN NOODLES (project sample)

Most times when I cook I always take pictures to show the process and the transformation process of foods. I like to know how dishes are made, the origin and what it is made of. I think this is very important because a lot of people are not aware of what their food contains. These pictures were taken weeks ago and I am posting them because I really like Indomie and for a long time, I taught they were introduced firstly in Nigeria but it is Indonesian born.                                                                                     I boiled the noodles in the sachets to make them edible and I boiled the egg. Indomie noodles come with sachet seasonings. when the Indomie was soft enough to my preference, I added the seasonings and red pepper then mixed it all up .then I poured the prepared Indomie to a plate and I put the boiled egg as well as an already boiled chicken which I previously had. now i devour the result of my hard work These pictures show the process o

COLLABORATION:Research

Welcome to my blog, For this post, I will be doing  research for my collaboration project. In my previous post, I talked about the social media idea that I and my teammates decided to work on. I decided to narrow down my research to two things that I am currently interested in which is my continuation route and music. Uber and Spotify My Continuation Route: Business management with Economics During my research, I was searching for businesses that are very different but were able to effectively collaborate to produce something unique and useful and that is how I found Spotify and Uber.   you’ll be able to travel in style by choosing the soundtrack for your Uber ride. When you request a new ride via the Uber app and get matched with a music-enabled vehicle, you’ll also be able to connect to Spotify and select between ready-made playlists, your own playlists or whatever else you’d like to hear. You’ll also be able to wirelessly control the music during the ride using eith
