horror audio research For this post, i'm going to be researching more on horror audio. As I've mentioned previously,i already know what i want when it comes to the audio. i want it to be very subtle and unsettled. In this video,I explained the different types of audios i can use in horror from what i observed after my research. low pitched,high pitched,fast paced and slow paced .i explained their examples and how they affect the audience. i also pointed out which the ones i think i will use. reference: what make a music scary? For this  i am going to be evaluating a short horror film ,to help further my research for my project. I found this film on you tube ,  "The Smiling Man" (UNCENSORED) | Presented by ALTER VOICE RECORDING EVALUATION In the voice recording below i'll be explaining what i observed in the video ,the shots angles e.t.c and what i will be doing in my work. I will talk about how the short film is similar to my idea e.g silence,soundtrack and how it is difference e.g blood, more than 1 character. i will also talk about what i like and don't like about the film.

For this post, i will posting a link to my initial project plan and i will be stating how far I've gone ,what was successful and what has been difficult so far. INITIAL PLANING FOR MAJOR PROJECT So far, i have found someone who will act for me and i will be filming a sample of the horror film soon to see how achievable it is .I attempted to do a story board for my project which i though was success i think it is beneficial. i am also going to try to update my blog showing the process of everything i have done so far. after testing if this idea is achievable, i will then write a script and start the major filming. i have ordered a mask from eBay that i'll be using as a monster so hopefully everything will go as planned . Today expect something good to happen to you no matter what occurred yesterday. Realise the past no longer holds you captive. It can only continue to hurt you if you hold on to it. Let the past go. For this post, i will be reviewing another blog that relates to my specialist class and project.i will be stating my opinion and observations about the blog. The name of the blog is  The student film review . This is the home page of the site. From the homepage, I could tell that it was a film blog because of the background image of a theatre and also the name of the blog. Also when you scroll down the home page there are instructions on how to navigate around the site and where to find specific posts to make it easier for people to move around.  Although this is good, this just shows that their blog is hard to navigate through because if the site was easy to navigate and well organised that won't be necessary. This is the about page. There were a few things I observed from this page. firstly, it was made clear that it is a student blog which is quite impressive .furthermore, the blog has not been updated in months. PROJECT RESEARCH For this post, i will be blogging my second week of specialist film class with Keith . For this post i'm going to be discussing Story board and it's relevance to my work progress. The other day in class, my tutor,Zoe introduced me to a method called story board that'll help me visualised the filming shots and angles that i will use.Once i started story boarding ,i found that it is easier for me to make decisions because i will be able to predict the possible shots and angles i can do with my resources and the ability i have.
