Reflection|Goodbye


Looking back at the work I did this term, I think that I have improved in my writing skills.I noticed that I have a problem with my punctuation which was something I never really paid attention to until this project. I also gained more understanding about my self in terms of the type of student i am.From this project, i  know that in my continuation route I would prefer to write exams than essays if i am given the choice.This is obvious due to my constant failures to update my blog regularly.Coming from a background where all the assignments given are short-term ,it was quite difficult for me adapt to the continuous updating of the blogs.This goes for my essays as well,in the first two terms the reason why i never finished my essays on time was because i was so used to writing essays during exams or over the weekend. so it was different for me.

I think if there i had to chance to re-do some aspect of this project,i will carry out primary research on asking Leicester Market Traders by asking them more about trading in Leicester . Also, I think I should have researched  my target market and my competition more by doing a survey and asking mainly Africans if they would be interested in the products that I am proposing to be introduced into the market as this would have greatly improved the Market plan section of the business plan .Also,I wish I could have consulted someone that had knowledge of my project such as a business tutor or even a Leicester city council member because apart from the structure of this project which i got from Score, The completion of this project was based on the research I carried out
Things I think i can improve in the future would be my research,i think i would have done more research instead of focusing mainly on Bplan and Score.Although, I focused on others as well ,i wish i had done more.

Writing 4: The voice

For this post, I will be giving an update on my writing class activity . I will be showing a sample of my first draft as well as establishing the point of view of my project. Direction When we were giving this task,the first thing i did was to look for a template for my business plan. This is because using a template which would be like a  form of guide for my writing and i found one on  Score   , a website that assist young and growing entrepreneurs .In my previous post ,I posted a table where i analysed my fruit company structure . So i reused that same structure for my fruit but i made a few necessary changes. I know my project idea is to create a snack business and that is what the template should explain but being that it was my first draft i decided to leave it that way to show it was an initial plan.
