LOGO CREATION:EBIFAME AS A BRAND

I FINALLY CREATED MY LOGO.

In this post, I will be showing the process of creating my LOGO. My brand name is EBIFame. It
 has been my nickname for the longest time so I used it.

The process of the creation will be explained below with screen shots for easier understanding.

On the left part of the page, you will see the tools panel. The rectangle tool was used  to draw two rectangles, a small one and a big one. The small rectangular was coloured blue  to differentiate it from the black one.

Here, we reduced the big rectangle with free transform option and changed the colours.

The colours of the rectangles were changed by firstly clicking on the shape you want to colour. Then the properties panel will display then click on the box that shows the current colour of the  rectangles which was white and red at the time(because I was trying
to figure out how to change the colour of the shape background). This can be done under the live shape properties.

Then a variety of designs suggestions will pop up as seen in the picture and by clicking on the option circled in blue ,various wonderful colourful transitions showed under the gradient editor where you will be able to adjust the colour arrows until  you are satisfied.

NEXT, Using the type tool from the tool panel I typed out EBIFame.Then grouped the letters and coloured them red, blue and yellow. Then the type tool was used again to type media right below.

 I ticked quite a few of the option under layer styles just build up the text background. This was done by right-clicking on the text layer, then selecting blending options from the different setting that is shown. 

 I looked for clicking symbols and I found this which was really nice.

In another tab I minimized it using the free transform option then I pasted it on the main work .

You use the move tool from the tool panel to move the click image on to the rectangle. 

Then you use the layer style to change the background to black.

Here, i clicked on the text and at the top of the page and wrap text tool will appear. when you click on it you select the option you want and your text will take the shape of the option you choose.

Reflection:

The making of the two logos was a good learning experience. I found out features on the photoshop software that I never knew about.

 I was able to research more about the photoshop software and I was able to critically think about my ideas and logo. I think I have done well in the designing of this logo. However, I would try to research more about the photoshop software because I believe that there is  much more I can do with it. Also, I will continue to to find ways to improve my blog and my website.
