WEBSITE UPDATE:MY WIX WEBSITE

This post will be focused on my Wix website. I know it has been neglected for a while and a lot has been going on there, hence, I will be giving updates on what I have done so far and how.

 Firstly, this is the design of the homepage of my website now.
In this homepage, you can see my logo and what I do. previously I showed the process of creating my logo so you can check that out. the design of this homepage was gotten from my biteable video. during the process of creating the video, I was looking for a way to insert my logo into one of the scenes and I randomly picked this one and inserted my logo. even though I didn't use this scene for my already created biteable video I used this picture because it was perfect for the home page.
Then, I captioned it with what I do presently; I blog and I do media.

At the top left of the page, you will see my logo there again along with my name.
I pinned it to the screen so all pages will show this. I also applied this to the side bar.


This is my 'contact us' page.it is a lightbox so it can appear on any page. I typed in a mini bio here to say what the website is about. It isn't long because the layout and design of my website will be able to show the viewers what my website is about without them coming to this page. the main focus of this page should be my contact us box.
This is my 'About Me' page.on the right side, I changed the background of the page so that it will look similar to the colours in my logo. I had to go to the photoshop software to replicate the colours then I saved it as a jpeg file and then I inserted it to the page background as an image.


This is my portfolio page. I haven't inserted any of my works yet.so it hasn't been personalized yet. however, the page layout is to my liking and I will be adding my works soon

Reflection|Goodbye

Looking back at the work I did this term, I think that I have improved in my writing skills.I noticed that I have a problem with my punctuation which was something I never really paid attention to until this project. I also gained more understanding about my self in terms of the type of student i am.From this project, i  know that in my continuation route I would prefer to write exams than essays if i am given the choice.This is obvious due to my constant failures to update my blog regularly.Coming from a background where all the assignments given are short-term ,it was quite difficult for me adapt to the continuous updating of the blogs.This goes for my essays as well,in the first two terms the reason why i never finished my essays on time was because i was so used to writing essays during exams or over the weekend. so it was different for me. WEB DESIGN PROCESS

I always hear people say  ''trust the process''      but i never fully understood until i started the process of creating this website. This post is going to be about the process of picking a template ,editing and customising my website to my preference. picking a template. After spending soo much time searching for the perfect template;i almost gave up. i decided to search for 'creative' template. seeing the results were even harder because i couldn't make up my mind.
