TRANSITIONING AND CAMERA MOVEMENTS
For today's post i will be researching on cuts,transitioning and camera movements that i expect to use for my short horror film.i will be writing on them this post instead of making a video.

After doing a little more research and also including the information from my specialist class,i found out there are various types of cuts in filming and i decided to list out some of them and then talk more about the ones i will be using and why.

According to Learner, Cuts is ''a visual transition created in editing in which one shot is instantaneously replaced on screen by another.''

Hard cut/standard cut: This is basically cutting from CLIP X to CLIP Y. Through mu research,i found that the audience don't get enough stand

Jump cut:This shot is usually signifies jump in time. For example coming down the stairs.
Dolly shot moves the camera toward or away from the subject while zooming in or out with the camera.
Tracking shot is when the dolly or slide is placed parallel to the action so the camera can move with the action.
Tilt is similar to a pan, but instead of turning left or right, it moves up or down

l-cut and J-cut: J cut is when clips look like a little "J" in the timeline.In this case, the audio of the next shot will start before the video.While in an L cut, is when the video of the next shot starts before the video the audio.
Camera movement
