FOOD AS AN IDEA

In this post, I will be posting the mind map of the ideas I have thought of so far for my media project.

As seen in the mind map, there are different routes I wanted to use when talking about food but I narrowed it down to African foods because it is home and more familiar and honestly more adventurous. if you read my post on sequential images, you will have learned that I'm a
 food lover.
yes, I'm African but I majorly eat Nigerian meals because I'm Nigerian.
so for this project, out of 54 African countries, my aims is to review at least 3 different dishes.
I want to use this project as an opportunity to explore more about Africa and the different meals and also share my experiences and honest opinion about the foods and the continent.
Also, I want to develop my knowledge by attempting to make a dish from another African country. this will be fun and scary because it'll be my first time. I will be posting all my experiences with pictures and sometimes videos along with written reviews on everything.
this project will help me in my digital skills as I will be using the Photoshop software to edit my pictures in order to produce the best quality images.i will also be using movie maker/movie editing occasionally when showing videos on how to make certain food and also when I feel pictures are not showing enough.

FINAL WORK ON SEQUENTIAL IMAGES

This is post is to show the final work on the sequential images I created. FINAL RESULT!! This collage was achieved using  pixlr  editor. I organised the photos in a specific order so that it can be viewed from front to back and vice versa. I am really proud of my work. however, while editing I realized I should have taken the pictures all from the same angle so they can look more identical but I couldn't redo the pictures cause I had already eaten all the grapes. INDOMIE: INDONESIAN NOODLES (project sample)

Most times when I cook I always take pictures to show the process and the transformation process of foods. I like to know how dishes are made, the origin and what it is made of. I think this is very important because a lot of people are not aware of what their food contains. These pictures were taken weeks ago and I am posting them because I really like Indomie and for a long time, I taught they were introduced firstly in Nigeria but it is Indonesian born.                                                                                     I boiled the noodles in the sachets to make them edible and I boiled the egg. Indomie noodles come with sachet seasonings. when the Indomie was soft enough to my preference, I added the seasonings and red pepper then mixed it all up .t...
