GETTING TO THE FUN PART:GROUP WORK ON ADVERTISMENT

Tis a reason to be jolly!

we were put in groups to make an advertisement. I was is in a group with David and Qin en. As the title says the process so far has been fun .
when it came to generating an idea, it was quite easy because we all wanted to make an ad on hair products.
We wanted to do a before and after picture to emphasize the exceptional effect of using our hair product which we narrowed down to shampoo and conditioner for women.
When it came to planning out the idea, Zoey gave us an A3 blank sheet to do a sketch of what we plan to do.

From this plan, we realized what we needed for this advert was a female with good hair, Photoshop software, images of blank containers, a good selling line
and a camera

Our model was Hye jin ko because she has such lovely hair .we didn't have a camera but Zoey, our tutor, did so we all went to the studio room and she helped take pictures of Hye jin from the different angle that we requested. As I mentioned in my previous post, our model will look sad or even angry with bad hair and happy with good hair to portray both the emotional and physical effect of a good hair with a good hair product(our product of course).
The photo shoot was a success. we ended up with a total of  119 pictures. after which we had to make a contact sheet with the pictures.

HOW TO CREATE CONTACT SHEET
1.go to photoshop
2.File > Automate > Contact Sheet
3. In the Source Images section of the Contact Sheet Dialogue box, choose the folder that contains your pictures,
4.you choose your preferred settings then you click ok. then photoshop will create your contact sheet for you.
5.when it is done save it as jpeg.so that it is easily transferable.

FINAL WORK ON SEQUENTIAL IMAGES

This is post is to show the final work on the sequential images I created. FINAL RESULT!! This collage was achieved using  pixlr  editor. I organised the photos in a specific order so that it can be viewed from front to back and vice versa. I am really proud of my work. however, while editing I realized I should have taken the pictures all from the same angle so they can look more identical but I couldn't redo the pictures cause I had already eaten all the grapes. INDOMIE: INDONESIAN NOODLES (project sample)

Most times when I cook I always take pictures to show the process and the transformation process of foods. I like to know how dishes are made, the origin and what it is made of. I think this is very important because a lot of people are not aware of what their food contains. These pictures were taken weeks ago and I am posting them because I really like Indomie and for a long time, I taught they were introduced firstly in Nigeria but it is Indonesian born.                                                                                     I boiled the noodles in the sachets to make them edible and I boiled the egg. Indomie noodles come with sachet seasonings. when the Indomie was soft enough to my preference, I added the seasonings and red pepper then mixed it all up .t...

Writing 6 : Idolect

For this post ,I am going to be discussing my writing class. In class we discussed idiolect . Business plan idiolect In class my tutor explained Idiolect to be  someones's unique way of speaking. she further stated Every one of us has his or her very own idiolect that differs from the way other people talk. We took part in various activities in class where we had to say different word synonyms such as happy and we came up with synonyms like  joyful, elated, content, thrilled, bubbly and ecstatic. we also had to change specific words in sentences of other class mates and compare to see if the initiall meaning is the sae when changed. From this class,my tutor pointed out that there are specific ways we write or speak and we sometimes apply it to our work even when it it not necessary. This made me compare my writing structure for y business plan project to my typical writing and speaking structure in all my other courses and this lesson was indeed relevant in ...
