Writing Class 1: Feedback

Welcome back to my blog.
In my previous post about my specialist class I mentioned that we were given a task to write a 500 words article about how and why we write. This was my final outcome so i am posting it here for feedback.

Ebitimi Silikowei Imomotebegha
How and why I write.

Title: Ability to inspire

‘Knowing that I can touch somebody’s life out there by sharing my story is more than enough for me

Living a success-driven life,Ebitimi Imomotebegha has always been motivated by the ability to inspire and transform people’s life .she enjoys writing relatable stories because she believes in the ability to inspire people and their view of life.she gives her respect to writers that have influenced her journey and has paved way for other writers such as herself by sharing their stories. Writers such as William Shakespeare and J.K. Rowling, who have not only impacted her but others as well through their ability to convey emotions which make people stop their disbelief and live in a world that doesn't exist.
------------------
At this point in my life, I don't want to limit myself to a particular genre because my main aim is to share my story and inspire people but if I were to pick a genre, it definitely would not be romance as most of my love is shared among my family and friends. Being a writer as easy as it seems is quite difficult, there is more to it than just writing what I feel and writing my experiences. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to write about something that I have been through because there are emotions and even memories that have been buried which will need to resonate. It also takes a lot of time and patience in order to descriptively and creatively express ones past.

Like any other writer that experiences difficulties, we also have our strengths. i believe that my writing is quite descriptive as I make sure every word in my writing counts and is meaningful to the message. love is also one of my most significant strengths. This is because I am surrounded by people who love me and never fail to show support which has significantly impacted my life.waking up to words such as you can do it, we love you, just try, we support you is both strength and a blessing.

REFLECTION

The purpose of this task was to write about ‘how and why i write’ in about 300 words.I titled it ‘Ability to inspire’ because that is what i ended up writing about
Initially, I was baffled because i don’t write and neither am i a writer. However, after
thinking thoroughly about this task, I realized that even though I don’t write I could complete this task as if i did. That is why the first paragraph was written in the third person to make it look like an introduction paragraph on someone famous. Then i used a line to demarcate the third person and the first-person writing.I followed the format that Bettina gave us in the class because it was easier for me to write with a guide which i did. At the end of this task, i was able to understand that writing takes a lot of creativity and inspiration can come from anywhere and anything. I think i will try to write more and see how is good i can get.

Although, I haven't gotten feedback from Bettina yet ,I will put this here so that I can get feedback from you .It took me quite sometime to get this done so I hope it's not horrible lol

INDOMIE: INDONESIAN NOODLES (project sample)

Most times when I cook I always take pictures to show the process and the transformation process of foods. I like to know how dishes are made, the origin and what it is made of. I think this is very important because a lot of people are not aware of what their food contains. These pictures were taken weeks ago and I am posting them because I really like Indomie and for a long time, I taught they were introduced firstly in Nigeria but it is Indonesian born.                                                                                     I boiled the noodles in the sachets to make them edible and I boiled the egg. Indomie noodles come with sachet seasonings. when the Indomie was soft enough to my preference, I added the seasonings and red pepper then mixed it all up .t...

FINAL WORK ON SEQUENTIAL IMAGES

This is post is to show the final work on the sequential images I created. FINAL RESULT!! This collage was achieved using  pixlr  editor. I organised the photos in a specific order so that it can be viewed from front to back and vice versa. I am really proud of my work. however, while editing I realized I should have taken the pictures all from the same angle so they can look more identical but I couldn't redo the pictures cause I had already eaten all the grapes.
