Collaboration:Final piece



Welcome back to my blog.
For this post, I will be presenting the final outcome of our collaborative work.
(Drum roll!!!)


REFLECTION


This collaboration project was an opportunity for me and my team to create something unique by contributing different ideas. This was two weeks project and this is the final result. These pictures were taking in the Castle Garden because of the beautiful environment while the last two pictures were taken right outside. I and my teammates consisting of khaqan and Altan all contributed to the making of this project in various ways . Although, my efforts are not physically seen i contributed verbally. while Altan was the model and Khaqan took the pictures and edited them they also contributed as well. Although this was not the initial idea we had i believe this turned out better than the initial idea as we were able to use these pictures to not only tell a story we also made it look like a comic character which i love. Overall, I believe the outcome of the collaboration was positive becaue i got to spend time with my teammates and something productive came out of it. However, I would be lying if i say everything went smoothly. The timing was our biggest issue as a team which lead to us finishing this late. Times where khaqan forgot to come becaue he was sleeping or Altan forgot to come because she didn't have internet to see my calls when we had already made plans that everyone already agreed to or the tie khaqan went to London and we had to forfeit out plans for the day.such memorable experience.
Above all this was a positive experience and i learnt a lot from this.FIRSTLY, i learned that i should always speak up if my teammates are wasting time, i should express my self and take charge of the situation on my behalf. I also learned that people's lifestyle is extremely different especially when it comes to setting priorities. I learned that i should not get angry when i am clashing with someone about something becaue at the end of the day, there has to be compromise . Lastly, I learned that working in a team can be more effective in certain situations as you will be able to combine strengths and create something extraordinary.

    Now there is context for the cartoon effect. How did you create the final piece as a whole? Some good reflection on the collaborative element of the project and how issues can arise when you are relying on others. Do you think the final piece is successful in getting your message across?

Writing Class 1:How and Why I write

Welcome back to my blog, This is my first specialist class for the term and I am beyond  excited.Bettina is my new specialist tutor as I  switched from film to writing. The aim of this class was to self-assess and develop your writing skills that will make you a m=better writer .In this class ,we answered series of questions that enabled us to think deep and recognised our weak points as well as our strong points .Furthermore,we had some in class discussions that helped us to explore other factors that influences our writing as well as my fellow classmates. Reflection|Goodbye

Looking back at the work I did this term, I think that I have improved in my writing skills.I noticed that I have a problem with my punctuation which was something I never really paid attention to until this project. I also gained more understanding about my self in terms of the type of student i am.From this project, i  know that in my continuation route I would prefer to write exams than essays if i am given the choice.This is obvious due to my constant failures to update my blog regularly.Coming from a background where all the assignments given are short-term ,it was quite difficult for me adapt to the continuous updating of the blogs.This goes for my essays as well,in the first two terms the reason why i never finished my essays on time was because i was so used to writing essays during exams or over the weekend. so it was different for me.
