Looking back at the work I did this term, I think that I have improved in my writing skills.I noticed that I have a problem with my punctuation which was something I never really paid attention to until this project. I also gained more understanding about my self in terms of the type of student i am.From this project, i  know that in my continuation route I would prefer to write exams than essays if i am given the choice.This is obvious due to my constant failures to update my blog regularly.Coming from a background where all the assignments given are short-term ,it was quite difficult for me adapt to the continuous updating of the blogs.This goes for my essays as well,in the first two terms the reason why i never finished my essays on time was because i was so used to writing essays during exams or over the weekend. so it was different for me. I think if there i had to chance to re-do some aspect of this project,i will carry out primary research on asking Leicester Market Traders

In this post i will be showing the how i added my major project to my website resulting in the final website. This is the link to the final website. Before adding this project to my website,I had to change it to a PDF document. There are several ways to do this but since I had already done my work on the google drive ,I had the option to download from the google drive as a PDF file which i did. In order to add it to the website,I changed it to a flip book as it will be easier to read and more appealing .I did this by using a website called Yumpu ,I uploaded the pdf file onto the website and it automatically created the flip book. In order to add the file to website ,i opened a sub page for this project on my wix website and included the link to the flip book. In this post ,I am going to be discussing my development so far by comparing my first term work to my third term work .I will be comparing the first and third term because in these two terms the work i did was writing while in the second term was film. In the first term,I did a food blog and make some African dishes while in this term i am creating a business plan to sell African snacks Firstly before adding the business plan to my website ,i had to make some changes.This is because i changed my course to business and the about me page,contact us page, home page all signified that i was doing in media and communication. In this post I will discuss more about the finishing up for my project for the Appendix and the executive summary. After finishing the business plan, I showed it to my tutor and she advised that I add pictures to the cover page so that it will look more presentable and interesting. Although what i thought was she said was true ,i had to research it to certify and when i looked at various websites such as  Grow think  , Small Business . They advised to keep it simple. Therefore added on one picture to the cover page.  The issue I faced is that I do not have many pictures of my own to put which means I will need to include pictures from the internet on the business plan. I decided that If i was going to do this then I will get all the pictures including those in the appendix  from the internet so that I could put a disclaimer at the bottom that stated that all the pictures used were not mine.The reason why i stated this was because even if the pictures were copyright or not ,i d

As i have been trying to finish my project, I haven't really posted that much of the progress of my work and the research that i have carried out. As i stated in the previous post, i started the project using a template I downloaded from a website called score. This is how a typical structure of the sections in the template looks. Due to the way the template has been structured, it has made it very easy for me to create a business plan to the point where little research is required. In a situation where i am confused,  I go to Bplan website. This is because it is very helpful and it has everything i need to know on a business plan.  For example :An article on how to understand a particular section in a business plan has been written by various people which means that i can get the same information from the same website and with a different explanation of the section from different authors.  That is not to say i did not further my

For this post ,I am going to be discussing my writing class. In class we discussed idiolect . Business plan idiolect In class my tutor explained Idiolect to be  someones's unique way of speaking. she further stated Every one of us has his or her very own idiolect that differs from the way other people talk. We took part in various activities in class where we had to say different word synonyms such as happy and we came up with synonyms like  joyful, elated, content, thrilled, bubbly and ecstatic. we also had to change specific words in sentences of other class mates and compare to see if the initiall meaning is the sae when changed. From this class,my tutor pointed out that there are specific ways we write or speak and we sometimes apply it to our work even when it it not necessary. For this post, I will be giving an update on my writing class activity . I will be showing a sample of my first draft as well as establishing the point of view of my project. Direction When we were giving this task,the first thing i did was to look for a template for my business plan. This is because using a template which would be like a  form of guide for my writing and i found one on  Score   , a website that assist young and growing entrepreneurs .In my previous post ,I posted a table where i analysed my fruit company structure . So i reused that same structure for my fruit but i made a few necessary changes. I know my project idea is to create a snack business and that is what the template should explain but being that it was my first draft i decided to leave it that way to show it was an initial plan. For this post, I will be discussing the activity giving in my writing class  and a brief summary of what I did. Review of Successful business plan in a week The text I chose to review is called Successful business plan in a week(Maitland,2007). I really liked the idea of the book and it broke down the business planning process a little bit more.The book shows -more like summarizes-how to write a business plan in a week and gives you different planning aspects that can be done on different days that is Sunday-Saturday . For this post , I will be posting Bettina's feedback on my Journal . She made quite a lot of helpful comments that i need to take note of.I am not going to specifically point out the areas which she corrected but i'm going give a brief summary of the places that i need tot be corrected. For the journal entry ,I thought it was usually written in  first person which is why i wrote mine in that  point of view  and Bettina agreed .A constant mistake i make which bettina has pointed it on various occasion is that my  punctuations  are usually improperly placed which could potentially confuse the reader.I am still trying t work on that as well. Also, there were some extra things i wanted to say but i knew it would be hard to so i put them in a bracket and in italics to show how i felt in the background of that specific scenario.
